Biographical Note
Arthur Hardy, fifth generation New Orleanian, media consultant, and publisher specializing in regional subjects and New Orleans writers. He is considered an authority on the subject of the New Orleans Mardi Gras and is the author of Mardi Gras in New Orleans: An Illustrated History (2001). Since 1977, Hardy has published the annual magazine, Mardi Gras Guide.
