Scope and Contents The NOLA Hip Hop Archive was founded by Holly Hobbs, a Ph.D. candidate at Tulane University, in 2012. Content Description The NOLA Hip-hop Archive was founded by Holly Hobbs, a Ph.D. student at Tulane University, as part of her dissertation research in 2012. The goal of Hobbs’ project is to document hip-hop in New Orleans, Louisiana, both as a musical and community art form.
