Scope and Contents The Thornton papers include correspondence, speeches, notes, writings, reports, studies, book reviews, newspaper clippings, and audio and video cassettes. Additionally, there is information from the community organizations in which Thornton participated. The correspondence gives insight into Dr. Thornton’s teaching positions at different institutions beginning in 1944.
