Content Description

This collection consists of a 100-page typescript copy of a play written by Owen Dodson entitled "Amistad." The play was written for the 100th anniversary of the Amistad Event and premiered at Talladega College on April 15, 1940, under the direction of Lillian Voorhees. This copy is labeled "copy 85" and included handwritten revisions to the cast list.
