Box 170

The photographs within the papers consist of one box of mostly original photographs with a few photographic prints on paper and are organized alphabetically. A large portion of the photographs are of groups from various conferences Mickens attended, as well as Mickens with visiting colleagues. In addition, there are images and photographic reproductions of African American women scientists that Mickens used for journals he guest edited and in his own writing and research. There is also one folder of Mickens family photos, which show Mickens' siblings and extended family.
