Photographs: Dillard University class of 1952, 1952

Photographs form a small (.6 linear feet), but significant, series in the collection. Dating from 1946 to 2008, the photographs include images of Harold Battiste and family members, as well as executives of and artists signed with A.F.O. Records. Of note are photographs of an A.F.O. party for radio and music industry members from New Orleans at Vernon's Supper Club in 1961, and the last photograph of members of the original American Jazz Quintet, taken in 1987. Negatives, as well as inkjet printouts and photocopies of photographs are housed at the end of the series.
