Scope and Contents
From the Series:
Oversized Materials include newspaper clippings, programs and color photographs. Of interest are issues of The Xavier Herald newspaper (1946-1949) and a scrapbook compiled by Soniat’s wife, Novyse, which details information about her membership in the Shreveport Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority (1949). Several scrapbook pages documenting Llewelyn Soniat at Xavier University (1942-1947) conclude the papers.
