Series 1: Administration - Atlanta office
Scope and Contents
The administrative arm of the Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund (FSC/LAF) was primarily responsible for aiding the executive director in implementing administrative policies. It was also responsible for personnel supervision, development of office policy, and coordinating office activities.
The Administration series records are divided into sub-series that include the Board of Directors, Executive Directors, Annual Meetings, FBI Investigation, Grants and Loans, Administrative Staff files.
The main personages and correspondents within the files include executive directors, Charles Prejean and Ralph Paige, and the board of directors, Father A.J. McKnight, Bill Farmer, Lewis Black, William Harrison, G.L. Twitty, Bill Busby, and Al Ulmer.
