This group documents the Ministry's activities in Sunflower, Mississippi and environs and is especially rich in materials pertaining to the Ministry's part in organizing and financing voter registration and other projects throughout the Mississippi Delta. Correspondence is primarily from the National Council of Churches, the parent body of the Delta Ministry; Ministry workers in Sunflower County; and various other organizations that the Delta Ministry supported. There is also information regarding the Ministry's efforts to organize its area for the Poor People's Campaign.
