Oklahoma: St. John's Grand Lodge of Oklahoma and Jurisdiction, proceedings, 1899
Scope and Contents
The collection contains an extensive amount of printed proceedings for the M.W. Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of Louisiana, as well as proceedings and printed items collected from other Masonic orders within the state of Louisiana and Prince Hall-affiliated Grand Lodge's in other states. The most complete set of the Grand Lodge's proceedings range in date from 1938 to 1996 with earlier and later proceedings dating intermittently from 1880 to 2001. Following the proceedings is a run of printed Grand Master's annual addresses (1929, 1940-1996, 2000) and an incomplete set of annual communication programs (1949-1998).
There is a small amount of proceedings and printed ephemera for Prince Hall Affiliated and non-affiliated Masonic orders in Louisiana including materials from the Esther Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star of the State of Louisiana and Scottish Rite and Royal Arch Masonic orders. Also included are some proceedings for the Conference of Grand Masters (PHA), and the United Supreme Council, A.A.S.R. The earliest item in this grouping is the 1857 proceedings of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, F. & A.M. of the State of Louisiana (non-Prince Hall).
Following the Louisiana materials organized by alphabetically by state are proceedings from Prince Hall Affiliated and non-affiliated state Masonic orders.
