Trustee Meeting, 1955

This group of materials consists of minutes from board, committee and annual meetings, correspondence, reports and programs from Central Congregational UCC in New Orleans from 1916 to 1998. The files in this series were collected by Reverend Henderson Dunn, Lillian B. Dunn, Mrs. Elise Dunn Cain and other family members who were active church and board members. Reverend Dunn served as pastor for Central Congregational from 1904-1924. The arrangement of this series is alphabetical by document format or meeting name and within these groupings chronologically by date. Three other institutional files are included with this series, the Amistad Research Center correspondence file, which documents the donation of the Dunn-Landry Family papers to the Amistad Research Center, a correspondence file for the Women's Auxiliary to Flint-Goodridge Hospital Ebony Fashion Fair, and minutes for the Women's Missionary Union and the State Extension Committee from the 1920s. These hand-script minute booklets were done in pencil and ink and were kept by Mrs. Lillian B. Dunn who was a member of these committees
