Scope and Contents
The materials within this group of files relate directly to the NCADH’s technical assistance activities to fair housing groups and agencies throughout the nation, and to specific research projects and programs undertaken by the organization. Aside from correspondence, this series includes minutes of the NCDAH’s research and education committees, proposals, reports, research studies, conference materials, speeches, position papers, publications, and photographs. Additionally, collected items range from a variety of newsletters to research materials from such sources as the federal government and universities. Prominent correspondents represented include Charles Abrams, Algernon Black, Ernest Erber, Hortense Gable, Frances Levenson, Herman H. Long, Benjamin E. Mays, Edward Rutledge, Walter White, and Jack E. Wood.
