Ida Vera Simonton postcards
Scope and Contents
This consists of three picture postcards, dated 1906 to 1907, from Ida Vera Simonton to George Seibel of The Gazette-Times of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In one postcard, Simonton writes of a "voyage with a cannibal crew." The postcards, each with a brief personal message, depict a street scene in Dakar, Senegal; a hunting party in the Congo; and a village in French Congo.
