Ann Allen Shockley letter
Scope and Contents
Typed letter, dated 8 December 1980, from author Ann Allen Shockley to book collector Robert Stuart of New Orleans. Shockley states that her book, Loving Her, has been remaindered by her publisher, Bobbs Merrill, and that she is sending Stuart a hardcover copy for his collection of gay literature on the recommendation of a man named Tom. Shockley also mentions that she enjoyed meeting Stuart and that "Tom and I had a whoopee night jumping to Country Music" while in New Orleans.
