The Louise Metoyer Bouise papers include a scrapbook documenting Bouise’s membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. and her role as a Graduate Advisor in that organization. It contains letters, forms, programs, and photographs. The scrapbook contains membership cards from other organizations, as well. Additional items include a commemorative binder from the 49th Boule of AKA, held in Atlanta, Georgia in July 1980 and a certificate awarded to Bouise from the New Orleans City Council on occasion of her retirement as a public school teacher.
