The Opportunity Foundation Corporation was founded by Margaret Callender McCulloch to benefit residents of Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee, to further their education, and to alleviate past discrimination in health, education, and welfare agencies through contributions to new agencies or improving existing ones. The organization's records consist of correspondence, minutes, accounts and financial statements, reports, bylaws, lists, scholastic and testing records, invitations, press clippings, photographs, and other records of the board of directors and trustees. Also included is material on educational grants and aid, child welfare, and day care centers. Correspondents include: Frances Coe, Charles L.
