Content Description
Members of the National Association of Human Rights Workers (NAHRW) are individuals in both public and private agencies working to promote improved human relations. The records of the organization offer a comprehensive overview of the Civil Rights Movement since WWII, and include correspondence, corporate and financial records, accounts, agenda, minutes, reports, articles, speeches, publications, lists, newsletters, photographs, and tapes of some seminars and meetings. In addition, the records contain materials regarding the Committee on the Status of Black Leadership, membership records, and materials from the 1991 NAHRW annual conference. Other items include conference and convention materials, Board of Directors information, and miscellaneous articles.
