Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: The collection of Cotton Valley School records occupies four boxes, or 1.2 linear feet of shelf space. Of this, one-quarter is devoted to correspondence, which mostly covers the decade of the 1940s. Included in the non-correspondence is an unpublished "Cotton Valley community survey," a demographic and anthropological study conducted in 1925 by noted sociologist E. Franklin Frazier.
