The bulk of the sound recordings are in the form of audiocassettes of speeches for Charles Evers' gubernatorial and senatorial campaigns. Candidates recorded include Charles Evers, Jimmy Swan, Willie M. L. Taylor, Red (sic) Morgan, and Fred Walters. There is one interview of Jason Berry discussing his book Up from the Cradle of Jazz: New Orleans Music Since World War II and a vinyl 45 record, "Plenty Of Room For More" by Earl King (1984).
