The records of the New Orleans-based Dashiki Project Theatre consist of three scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings on the organization and reviews of its productions, as well as photographs of productions, programs, handbills, and correspondence. The scrapbooks cover the founding of the Theatre in 1968 through 1982.

Scope and Contents The papers of Tom Dent provide a rich documentary source in the areas of African American literature and theater, the Civil Rights Movement, and the society and culture of New Orleans.
