Content Description Varnette Honeywood originally from St. Joseph, Louisiana, and Magnolia, Mississippi, migrated to California with her parents. She was an alumna of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended the University of Southern California receiving her Master’s Degree in Education in 1974.
