The collection includes Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) memoranda regarding counterintelligence and surveillance on the Ku Klux Klan and other hate groups in the greater New Orleans area as well as FBI reports on these groups, also including the Bogalusa Civic and Voters League. The bulk of these materials, dating from 1964 to 1971, regard the Klan in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
