Scope and Contents
House of Marr, Inc. files (1950-1962) document the operations of Marr's print company, which specialized in general printing, greeting cards, art and decorative accessories. The company's officers (Marr, Richard Bruce Nugent, Martin Schached, Grace Marr and Raymond Jenkins) targeted clients seeking printing services for both personal and commercial needs through advertisement and word-of-mouth. Printing samples such as greeting cards, pamphlets, programs, and stationary make up the bulk of the materials. Of note are large samples of Christmas greetings cards in various styles, shapes, and colors.
