Scope and Contents From the Collection: The James Edward Bates Photographs include two 12" x 18" black and white photographs produced by Bates. One photograph depicts protesters at a rally in support of the Jena Six at the La Salle Parish Courthouse in Jena, Louisiana, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 21, 2008.
